It all started with a drawing. The idea was to bring my two cats to life, to give them personality — inspired by artists, creatives, and cultural icons like Dalí, Frida Kahlo, Vermeer, and Madonna. That’s how the first Maneki Nekos illustrations were born: cats with soul, style, and a unique touch.

 

From those drawings, two characters emerged that I later designed in 3D — and eventually, they became real figures. Today, at Maneki Nekos, each piece is hand-painted with care, infused with artistic spirit and positive energy on purpose.

 

Yes, they are lucky cats.

But they are also art.
